Trevor Connelly entered the Vegas organization as the 19th selection in the 2024 NHL Draft. The draft was held at Sphere on June 28, making the beginning of his connection to the club a Las Vegas event in its own right. He is a Tustin, California native.
After his freshman season at Providence College, Connelly signed a three-year entry-level agreement with Vegas on April 1, 2025. He had recorded four goals and nine assists in 23 college games, including a five-point performance and overtime winner at Northeastern. He also earned gold with the United States at the 2025 World Junior Championship.
Henderson signed him to a professional tryout on April 3, 2025, joining the NHL club’s development pathway within Southern Nevada. His earlier two seasons with the Tri-City Storm produced 125 points in 109 USHL games. The linked official video shows his October 17, 2026 goal against Pittsburgh at T-Mobile Arena.
